The general idea is to install Windows encrypted first then Manjaro Linux encrypted. The Manjaro installer will see the Windows partitions and including it in the new GRUB menu. With an encrypted OS, this can be difficult and the usual tools can't see what in an encrypted partition. After several attempts I found this to work the easiest.
Install Windows 11 home. Use expert options to use only half the SSD. If Windows already exists on the entire SSD, you can use the disk manager to shrink the Windows OS. You may shrink even if it is already encrypted with Veracrypt.
Encrypt Windows install with Veracrypt. Choose to encrypt the Windows system partition, NOT the entire SSD drive.
Make sure you have enough space left after the Windows install to install Linux. Dividing a 512GB, M.2 in half space wise is reasonable.
Install Manjaro. Manjaro will detect the existing Windows partition and offer a menu option to install to another partition. All Linux distros I tried simply wanted to grab the entire storage device. Sure you can manually set this up in the menu, but I want easy!
Once Manjaro is installed, the Manjaro GRUB menu is encrypted so to boot Manjaro it's one password and your booted. To boot Windows, you need to enter the Linux encryption password to get to the GRUB menu, select Windows and then enter the Veracrypt password when prompted. I set both passwords are the same for me.
I'm hooked on the convenience of Google Chrome, but avoid AUR repositories. Simply set up Flatpak and use Flatpak for Google Chrome. I was amazed how fast the Flatpak Google Chrome ran.
